Copper Tube Brazing Parts

Description

A brazed copper joint is a type of joint made by heating two pieces of copper to a temperature that is below their melting point, but high enough to melt a filler metal placed between them. The filler metal (also known as brazing alloy) typically has a lower melting point than the copper pieces. This lower melting point allows it to melt and flow into the joint, creating a strong and durable connection.

During the brazing process, we heat the copper pieces and the joint area filler metal using a flame heating method. The heat will melt the filler metal and wicks between the copper pieces through capillary action. Once the joint is completed and the brazed area cools down, the filler metal solidifies and bonds the parts together.

Brazed copper joints are commonly used in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and other applications where a strong, leak-free joint is required.
