Description

This customised bending process for soft copper tubing involves the following three steps:

1. Programming: The first step is to program the CNC machine to bend the copper tubing according to the required specifications. This is done by inputting the bending angle, radius, and other parameters into the machine’s software. The machine then uses this information to create a bending program that will control the movement of the bending arm and the pipe.
2. Set up: Once the program has been created, the cut-to-length soft copper tubing is loaded into the CNC bending machine. The machine clamps the pipe securely in place and positions it so that it is ready to be bent. The bending arm is then positioned over the pipe and the program is activated.
3. Bending: The machine uses the programmed instructions to control the movement of the bending arm and the pipe. The arm slowly moves around the pipe, applying pressure to bend it into the desired shape. Once the desired shape has been achieved, the arm releases the pipe and moves back to its starting position. The finished copper pipe is then removed from the machine and inspected for quality control purposes.
