Description
A two-step bend is a technique to create two bends in a copper pipe. It normally involves bending soft copper pipe in two separate stages to achieve the desired shape.
To perform a two-step bend, first set the point in programme where the bend will begin. Then, cnc clamp bending tool will bend the pipe to a slight angle (typically 15-30 degrees) at the setting point.
Next, reposition the clamp bending tool to the desired angle of the final bend and carefully bend the pipe again, using the first bend as a guide. This will create a smooth, even curve in the pipe.
It is important to use the correct tools and techniques when bending soft copper pipes to avoid kinking or damaging the pipe. Additionally, the pipe should be properly supported and clamped during the bending process to prevent it from slipping or twisting.
